GOOD NEIGHBORS CLUB
The club for special people - age 55 and better
The Good Neighbors Club was started in January 1991 with about 100 members. We have grown in leaps and bounds and now have a membership of over 2200. The current Club Director is Renee Zaiser. This club is for our customers age 55 and better who maintain a checking account and a $5000 relationship with our bank. To join the club is a voluntary choice by the customer. The bank does not automatically enroll account holders in the club.
The benefits of membership:

- Free ATM or Debit Card
- Free checking
- Free - 10 photo copies monthly
- $5.00 discount on safe deposit boxes per year
- Free travelers checks

- Monthly events or trips
- Bank Seminars
We try to have a trip or event once a month for our club members. Every January we have our annual anniversary party and in the summer we provide an annual picnic. Our day trips could be a casino trip, dinner theaters, touring factories or historic homes or other local points of interest. Mystery trips are also popular with the club members. Can you imagine boarding a bus and not knowing where your travels are going to take you? Cruising has been a very popular venue for the club during the winter months.
The club usually takes one 7-12 day international trip each year and one 7-10 trip within the US. Some of the areas we have seen are Switzerland, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Australia and New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, and the New England states and Canada. We will also do a short 4-5 day trip once a year.
RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
To sign up for trip or event you can either call the director, Renee Zaiser at 319-753-9185 or stop by her desk at the main bank.
Day trips do not require a deposit. All other trips will usually require a deposit to hold your seat. Trip signups are on a first come first served basis until the trip is full. After a trip is filled, we will take names on a wait list. If someone cancels, we will call the wait listed persons to fill the cancellation. If we can fill your spot, you will receive a refund subject to the terms of the various venders. If there is not a wait list, you are responsible to get someone to take your seat. If you can not find someone to take your seat, a refund will not be issued.
Day trips are usually refundable up to the final payment date. Refunds after the final payment date will be determined on an individual basis. On extended and international travels, refunds vary and depend on the policies of our travel providers. Cancellation policies are explained in the specific brochures of a trip. Trip cancellation insurance is always highly recommended if not included on a trip.
