To earn the E-Rates, perform the following each cycle:
1. Make at least 10 check card transactions (excluding ATM transactions)
2. One Direct Deposit or ACH Auto Debit
3. Receive Electronic Statement
4. Access Online Banking |
*When your average daily balance is $25,000 or less, the interest rate paid on the entire balance will be 3.95% with an annual percentage yield (APY) of 4.02%. An interest rate of 1.00% will be paid only for that portion of your average daily balance that is greater than $25,000. The annual percentage yield for this tier will range from 4.02% to 1.76%, depending on the balance in the account. If you do not meet the requirements during a given cycle, you will earn the Standard Rate of 0.10% APY. Rates as of March 20, 2009. We may change the interest rate and APY at any time after the account is opened. No minimum balance required. However, you must deposit a minimum of $100 to open this account. Available to personal accounts only. No monthly service charge. If you do not meet the requirements per cycle, your account will still function as a free checking account earning the Standard Rate, however it will not receive ATM refunds for that time period.
